REGISTER NOW!
PRE-REGISTRATION ENDS SUNDAY AUGUST 30th!
On-site registration will be available at the event, but will be $10 more ($60) for the 3-day event. Single day registrations are available for $25/day. All the pavilions and tent spaces are full, but you can bring your own canopy and put it up at no charge on either end of the flight line. I have secured a food truck again this year and they will be providing Donuts each morning on the flightline for all pilots. It is important to support them, as they need to make money so that they will come back next year! Please support them.
I wanted to let you know about our sponsors. This year, we have National Balsa, Balsa USA, Gator RC, Zap glue, Dynamic Balsa and Micro Fasteners! They will be supplying products for our raffles this year. National Balsa and Micro Fasteners will be attending the event and will have booths set up on the flightline with products to sell! Micro Fasteners will be providing several items and National Balsa will be providing two kits for the raffle:
So, plan on visiting with them while you are here.
Next, I wanted to announce that we will be having a Dawn Patrol on Friday and Saturday morning at 7:00AM. That is the earliest time I can get approval for engine start and flying on the AMA property! So, plan on getting up early and flying your WWI aircraft. We will have Coffee and Donuts for all the Dawn Patrol Pilots!
We will have the 40 x 60 storage tent for your models, but if you are in a tent or pavilion, you can leave your models there if you want. The AMA Site 4 campsite is already full, so security for your models will not be a problem.
Finally, we will streamline the registration and safety briefings so you can focus on flying and having fun! I will be on site starting on Tuesday morning for setup and early arrivals.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me by email at tony@radiosouthrc.com or by phone at 912-242-2407. It’s gonna be FUN!
Tony Stillman, Air Power Over the IAC CD
This is a Radio Controlled Aircraft Event For Giant Scale Military and Civilian Classics.
The aircraft at this event are modeled from the full scale equivalent. Typically, these aircraft have an 80 inch wingspan or larger! They are replicas of military and classic aircraft from the period of 1914 to the present day. The pilots at this event will be some of the most talented builders, designers and pilots in the country.
Airshow demonstrations will feature: WWI, WWII, Jets, Multi-engine aircraft and more! Viewing these authentic replicas on the ground is as much fun as in the air. Visit the pits, meet the pilots, and then watch ’em fly.
There will be food vendors on site for your enjoyment, so bring some chairs with your family and friends. Don’t forget the sunblock! Sit back and … Enjoy the show!
